祈話（六）：Rainbow

你有沒有見過彩虹？

按Wikipedia的解釋，彩虹的原理是：「...是氣象中的一種光學現象，當太陽光照射到半空中的水滴，光線被折射及反射，在天空上形成拱形的七彩的光譜，彩虹的七彩顏色。」

雖然我未曾見過真正的彩虹，但我卻接觸過不少音樂上的「彩虹」。

"Why are there so many songs about rainbows? "這是Rainbow Connection的第一句歌詞。究竟在音樂世界裡有多少首關於Rainbow的歌？例子有Somewhere Over the Rainbow，A Kiss At The End Of The Rainbow，She’s a Rainbow等等。

這是一首有關一對小情人在雨後等待彩虹出現。當兩人在彩虹下互握雙手，四目相投，戀愛的感覺便悄悄來到。當下，彩虹並不只是兩人的佈景，而是代表著兩人的愛──是在經歷過風雨之後所產生的愛之彩虹。

這首歌十分易懂，容易上口，而且令聽者感到特別舒服。由於這首歌是由一位非英語人士（曹格是馬來西亞人）撰寫，歌詞裡並沒有使用什麼特別的方言。
